{{Quickfixn}} FIX 5.0 Message received with a heartbeat message at the end?

Good afternoon all,

I've been around FIX for a bit, but not 5.0 - perhaps I'm doing something wrong with the app/transport data dictionaries - any help would be greatly appreciated !

This is an older release of QuickFix - V1.7.0.0

The issue is I'm sending a 35=AE message, but seem to be receiving the AE message PLUS a heartbeat which then causes QuickFix to reject the message with duplicate tag 8s
