<p class="MsoNormal">I’ve been around FIX for a bit, but not 5.0 – perhaps I’m doing something wrong with the app/transport data dictionaries – any help would be greatly appreciated !<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This is an older release of QuickFix – V1.7.0.0<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The issue is I’m sending a 35=AE message, but seem to be receiving the AE message PLUS a heartbeat which then causes QuickFix to reject the message with duplicate tag 8s<o:p></o:p></p>
