Did you read the documentation?  I'm pretty sure the simple steps there are still accurate.

Honestly, if you are learning about QFn for the first time, *don't* use the demo.  I know that everybody loves a UI, but all the UI-code garbage obscures all the important QF stuff.  And I'm saying that as the guy that wrote this thing.  Personally, I want to delete it from the internet, but I was outvoted.

I think the three apps in the Examples directory are more important as educational examples.  All that code is much easier to follow than my crap UI.
