Field 1409 is the Session Status that comes back in the Logon message. Because 1409 is not in the standard XML files the system rejects the logon message and tries to send the reject back but because the logon isn't complete It fails sending.

The first thing you have to do is create both FIXT and FIX5.02 XML files that correlate to the specs that you got from the JSE.
You have to make sure that all fields are in the messages, and all possible values are in the Enums, or else you are going to have a lot of heartache.

Just remember that FIX is a very loose spec, and you have to tailor for each and every connection you make.
