Why not? It means that you are not using .NET Libraries that have been eliminated in .Net Core, C# code is evolving its syntax, but previous versions are compatible...

4.6.1 works, but only after I installed VisualStudio 2019.

I have upgraded from old QuickFIX.Net.1.7.0 version (RunTime vers v2.0.50727), to the latest 1.10 version. My code appears to without modification - I did not expect that.

Can that really be?
