At some point you are going to create a SocketInitiator - it takes a
logFactory (which is probably now a QuickFix.FileLogFactory(settings)) - I
think you can pass null here and shut off logging - or implement the
interface and replace the FileLogFactory with your own object.

Hi Andrew

Thanks for replying - sorry this is all new to me. Do you mean setting the
FileLogPath=NULL in the config file ?

Thanks for your help.

Wayne

Check out the constructor - I believe it take a logging object - pass null
instead (or your own new object)

Hi

Is it possible to disable file logging on QuickFix/n 1.5.0.0 - I would like
to manage the file logging from within my application.

I have searched the configuration documentation and see nothing that lets me
disable it.

Thanks.

Wayne
