You still need C# classes to handle Logon, Logout, Heartbeat messages. Those are missing in the FIX50 namespace, but are present in FIX40-44 namespace. Without those classes, your app will reject those messages.

QuickFIIX manages the Logon and Logoff when SocketInitiator Start() and Stop(), as well as the Heartbeat message.

  1.  In the xml dictionary or the C# library, there is no support for Logon or Logout Message. How do we logon?
  2.  There is no support for Heartbeat message either.
