{{Quickfixn}} FIX4.4 new field type

>From your SO question, looks like your problem is that you want a "TENOR"
data type, which is not in the base FIX4.4. spec.

It's true that QF/n does not know anything about Tenors.

However, the easiest thing to do is specify your new field as a String
type.  The engine will accept anything in a string field.  If you need to
interpret a Tenor value, put it in your application logic.
