Grant, thanks for the reply, I contacted them and they are looking into it. 
I still hope you'll consider implementing this feature for cases where they may not be accommodating.

Um... not really.  It looks like you want to somehow accept incorrect messages.
 
QF is designed to work with well-behaving mostly-fix-compliant counterparties.  It rejects malformed messages, which it looks like your rejected message probably is.  Or else you have a DD error; I can't tell with what you've given.  Are you 100% sure that your DD is correct and that the rejected message violates it?
 
If yes, then in a perfect world, you would inform your counterparty that *they* are the ones who are wrong, and then they would fix their broken thing.  Have you tried talking to their support?

QuickFIX will occasionally reject FIX messages which are essential to us, and modifying the XML file does not help in our case.
 
For example:
20141020-00:53:28.287 : 8=FIX.4.4 �9=138� 35=3 �34=8� 49=XXXXXX 52=20141020-00:53:28.287� 56=XXXXXXX �45=66� 58=Incorrect NumInGroup count for repeating group� 371=268� 372=W �373=16� 10=191�
