The developer who wrote the SSL part says:
"No it does no directly support pem (which is only one or two keys, without
certificate information), pem files has to be combined with certificate
details into a PKCS12 file (.pfx or p12) if it should be used as
client/server certificate.
I am using the X509Certificate2 class which only support PKCS12 (
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms148420(v=vs.110).aspx)."
I confess that I don't know much about this. If anyone can help, it would
be appreciated.
