{{Quickfixn}} Query Related to MsgType=2

Hi Sir,
Actually I want to send this message(35=2) for the transmission error issue
only. The issue I have discussed earlier, i.e. the case of improper shutdown
when my application is waiting for the execution report from the bank and
after re-login my application should have received that missed execution
report.
Is this functionality already implemented in QuickFix/n??
Thanks & Regards,

You should not send this as part of your application logic. RequestResend
is an admin message. It's not meant to be sent manually (just like a
Heartbeat is not meant to be sent manually). This is for the engine's use.
This message is for transmission errors. By sending it, you are basically
*lying* to your counterparty, saying "some error happened at the transport
level" when, really, that's not true.
If you need historical data or something, you need to use the
application-level messages that the counterparty specifies for you to use.
Please check their spec.

Hi All,
I want to send the Request Resend(tag 35=2) message to the Bank.
How can I get the values of Tag 7(BeginSeqNo) & Tag 16(EndSeqNo) for FIX
4.4?
Do I have to get it from the log or is there any other way to get it using
QuickFix\n Code?
