Hi Walter,
I realized that I will have to use quickFix -- I am new to it. I initially thought that I will have to work on FpML file to extract the Execution Report fields, but have now realized that quickFix converts all the fields of FIX format to object which I can store in my database.
My motive is to have the fields of of the Execution Report (coming from TradeWeb) and store them in the database created by me in the Sql Server.
I intend to have a demo connection via quickFix to TradeWeb so that I should be able to see what objects can be created from the Execution Report.
So, I started with installing the quckFix dll and referenced it in my project (used this site for help : http://dotnetdlr.com/2011/07/basic-fix-message-implementation-using-quickfix-net/) -- am I going into the right direction?
Thanks & Regards,
Ashutosh Mishra
