So I completed development of my first quickfix/n app on my local desktop. I've been using visual studio to do my testing. Now I want to deploy it to a server so that my users can test.
How do people normally schedule this to run? I Was going to set up a winows scheduled task to start it off at 6:00 AM and then set the setting on the scheduled task to stop the process if it runs longer than 12 hours.
I figured this would make sure that it was running from 6AM to 6 PM every day.
This seems kind of hokie to me. What do other people do? How would I get it to send a logiout message before ending?
Russell
