Hi mike,

 

i am not doing or trying anything with tag 272 in my code. I also didn’t
change anything in the xml file. I just get the error in the logs. Because
the logs are big, I just put both logs in one file. It is a log from 1
minute time only (20:55:00 – 20:55:59).

 

Please have a look at the timestamp (20130315-20:55:02.781/2) where the
error actually happens.

 

You may know where that comes from :)

Please post the relevent portion of both your quickfix messages log and
events log so that we can see the actual error.

 

Are you trying to do a Get of the MDEntryDate (tag 272) field in your code?

 

MDEntryDate (tag 272) is set to required='N' in the FIX42.xml
DataDictionary, so you should not have to change the xml unless you
previously set MDEntryDate to required='Y'.
