Hi there,

 

i hope all doing well? I receive an error every quote coming in. hotspot
told me (see below) they don’t send tag 272. How can I disable in quickfix/n
the tag 272 not to be checked anymore?

 

Do I have to delete the tag 272 from the description file fix.4.2.xml?

Walter,

 

1.       Our FIX bookfeed and FIX proxy server shuts down every day at 5PM
ET for 2 minutes.  It also resets sequence numbers back to 1 inbound and 1
outbound.

2.       Your side is having an issue with the value in tag 272, however we
don’t send that tag in FIX market data.  Adjust your software to not expect
that tag this would fix this issue.
