Did you pass a FileLogFactory as the last argument of the Initiator (or
Acceptor) constructor? E.g.:


QuickFix.LogFactory logFactory = new QuickFix.FileLogFactory(settings);
QuickFix.Transport.SocketInitiator initiator = new
QuickFix.Transport.SocketInitiator(application, storeFactory,
settings, logFactory);
